The Graduate Student Senate consists of senators representing constituencies whose members pay the Graduate Student Activity Fee, as well as At-Large senators representing all graduate students who pay the Graduate Student Activity Fee. If you are interested in being a senator or have any questions about your group’s representation please contact our Parliamentarian (GSSParliamentarian@uconn.edu). To be a Senator, submit your required Kuali Senator form for the school-year to the Parliamentarian by Sept 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM. If you or the your head of Department are having issues with the Senator form, email the Vice President and Parliamentarian by the deadline (Sept 3). Department Heads may email the Vice President and Parliamentarian directly to nominate their Senator(s) (make sure to fill out the Kuali form soon thereafter). You must have an active constituency and complete E-Board with fee-paying grad students by the Senator submission deadline for all Tier-II organizations.
